This is the terrifying moment a man in Magaluf tells a young undercover journalist that ‘15 years doesn’t count on holiday’ and jokes that he wants to inspect her hymen.

Journalists Ellie Flynn and Emily Birtley set up hidden cameras for the new Channel 4 film ‘Magaluf Undercover: Predators and Parties’ to expose the predatory underbelly of Mallorca’s tourist hotspot.

They both spent time at the notorious ‘party strip’ Punta Ballena, where they pretended to be drunk to see if men would take advantage of their condition.

In one particularly disturbing scene, they were filmed chatting to some men outside a hotel bar when Emily, who was actually in her 20s, said she was only 15 and on her first holiday with friends.

One of the men started hitting on Emily, prompting his friend to call him a “nonce”.

He immediately replied: “It’s okay, man, we’re on holiday, it doesn’t count… it doesn’t matter if she’s 15, it doesn’t count.”

The girls played along, clearly hoping he was joking, but the man then made an outrageous statement. “If she’s got a full hymen, I know…” he said.

At first he tried to play it down and laughed when the journalists, clearly surprised, pressed him.

But a moment later he doubled down: “I said, I want to see if she’s got a fully developed hymen or not!”

The chilling incident was just one of many that unfolded in the documentary, as Ellie and Emily were repeatedly approached by men who wanted to take advantage of them.

Another disturbing scene was when local men blatantly pounced on Ellie as she pretended to faint on a sun lounger, forcing her to call security to escape.

“Hey, are you okay? Sorry, are you okay?” he asked Ellie as he leaned over her.

The reporter then told him she was okay, but instead of leaving her alone, he asked her if she “just wanted to talk”.

The interaction takes a dark turn when Ellie shakes her head, to which the man replies: “You’re my last chance. Do you want to kiss a little bit?’

Ellie said no again, and the man walked away briefly – only to tell his girlfriend that “she’s completely drunk,” to which his friend replied, “Let’s go for it!” Let’s go for it.’

“I can keep you company if you want,” the friend said after approaching Ellie and sitting down next to her on the lounge chair. “Where are you from?” he asked.

Ellie then stood up and explained in her narration from the film how she felt “really scared” despite being watched by a camera crew and security.

She was seen gesturing for help, and a female security guard rushed to her aid and pulled her away.

“I’m sorry, it just scared me… I didn’t see it coming,” a relieved Ellie explained.

“I had seen the first two together, but the sudden appearance of another and the fact that I had no idea if they were together at the time was enough for me to alert security and pull me out.”

Ellie went on to describe how she felt like she had witnessed ‘an orchestrated attempt to attack drunk, single women on a night out in Magaluf’.

But her terrifying encounter with the three men on the beach was not an isolated incident.

For three days, Ellie – accompanied by a film crew while disguised as a drunken reveller – secretly filmed in clubs, on the strip and on the beach in Magaluf after dark.

The crew documented the various sinister incidents in which Ellie was followed and harassed by men.

The documentary also revealed that in 2023, 48 rapes were reported to the police in Magaluf alone.

Ellie said she noticed a “pattern” in the behaviour of some of the men at the party destination.

One night, Ellie said she was watched by a group of men for ten minutes as she collapsed outside a fast food restaurant before one of them told her he had a car.

“Why would this man, who has been watching me for a few minutes and can see that I am obviously drunk, try to get me into a car,” she wrote in The Sun.

“He repeatedly asked why I was on my own, where my friends were and suggested he could help me – he told me I was beautiful and much closer than I was comfortable with.”

But it’s not just the upcoming Channel 4 documentary that is chronicling the trend of women being exploited in Magaluf.

There have been several reported rapes in the tourist hotspot over the summer.

A female British tourist was allegedly raped by a man twice her age. He was intercepted as she returned to her holiday apartment after a drunken night out with friends in Magaluf.

Another British woman was raped and robbed on a beach after becoming separated from friends in the resort’s Punta Ballena party area.

The suspect is said to have picked her up and carried her to the beach, where he raped her before stealing her mobile phone.

The Calvia region of Mallorca, where Magaluf is located, has the highest number of reported sex crimes per capita in Spain.

The party resort on the Spanish island of Mallorca is known for its drinking culture, which is enjoyed by many foreign tourists, particularly Britons and Germans.
