Nondairy milk lovers, rejoice.
Starting next week, Starbucks will stop charging coffee drinkers who want to adjust their drinks with an additional fee options for non -Klaver milk, the company announced on Wednesday.
The change will take effect on November 7, the day that the company will launch its holiday menu, said Starbucks in a release.
Starbucks said that dropping the extra costs “makes it easier for customers to make their Starbucks their own” by adjusting popular drink recipes with non -choir milk options, including soy milk, oat milk, almond milk or coconut milk, according to the release.
“The core of the Starbucks experience is the possibility to adjust your drink to make yours. By removing the extra costs for non-zuivel milk, we embrace all the ways in which our customers enjoy their Starbucks,” Brian Niccol , Starbucks’ chairman and CEO, said in the release.
According to Starbucks, replacing a non-zuivel milk is the second most requested adjustment of customers, according to Starbucks. It falls at the back of adding a shot espresso.
The company estimates that customers who pay to change their milk choices get a price reduction of more than 10% when the change comes into effect.
“This is just one of the many changes that we will make to ensure that a visit to Starbucks is worth it every time,” Niccol said in the release.
Starbucks previously announced that it will stop its Oleato olive oil drinks at the beginning of November.
