David Gandy has taken a flight with British Airways after being separated from his two-year-old son during a four-hour flight.
The model, 44, tweeted last night about the ordeal: ‘So @British_Airways you oversold the flight.
“Our allocated seats are taken and you’re happy for my two-year-old to sit next to a stranger? What if there’s an emergency?
‘BA: Well there’s nothing we can do so yeah it’s OK. COME ON BA you can do better than this.’
Mr Gandy flew from Marrakech to London with his girlfriend Stephanie Mednoros and their two children.

Mr Gandy tweeted about the ordeal last night, saying: “Our assigned seats are taken and you’re okay with my 2 year old sitting alone next to a stranger?”

In 2021, he welcomed his second daughter Tabitha Isabella with his lawyer girlfriend.
The couple also have a daughter, Matilda, born in 2018.
The proud father, who is Britain’s highest-paid male model, has been in a relationship with lawyer Stephanie for four years but remains secretive about his personal life.
The family, who are reportedly worth £12million, were on holiday, staying at the £1,000-a-night Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.
Posting photos on his Instagram before flying home, Gandy said: ‘From the completely private pools to the 20-acre haven of olive groves and gardens, mountain views to the small farm for the kids and only 10 minutes from the famous Medina. I can’t say enough about the @mo_marrakech resort and the amazing team who looked after my family and I.’
The responses to his tweet also suggested that it had happened to others.
I have had this exact experience with a number of my private clients,” one person responded.
“It was a party of eight with three children and none of them had a seat next to each other even though they had booked in advance.”
Another person responded: ‘This also happened to my 5 year old son and I with BA on our flight back from Alicante in August.’

David Gandy is the latest celebrity to join the airline.
In June, James Corden, 46, confronted a British Airways employee after a nightmarish flight from the Algarve to London that was forced to stop in Lisbon.
The star was among passengers on the turbulent journey that left children “traumatised” during a bumpy descent into the Portuguese capital.
Elizabeth Hurley warned fans not to “fly” and said she was “stranded” at Antigua airport for more than 12 hours when her British Airways flight was delayed.
In 2022, the actress fell out with the airline after she and other passengers went without food or drink for 20 hours.
In 2019, pop band Simply Red, fronted by Mick Hucknall, expressed their annoyance that their plane apparently left without them, despite them having their luggage with them.
