Defiance Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday virtually inaugurated 75 transformative infrastructure projects of the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
Of these, 18 projects are in Arunachal Pradesh, including three major roads, 14 bridges and a helipad implemented through Project Brahmank.
Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Ret) KT Parnaik, who also participated virtually from Itanagar, stressed on the strategic importance of these projects for both the state and the nation.
“These completed projects will enhance national security, improve air and surface connectivity and boost tourism in the state,” he said.
Parnaik, on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, expressed his gratitude to the Central government for the successful implementation of these crucial projects.
“These infrastructures will promote socio-economic development, especially in border areas, and support the state government’s Vibrant Border Village programmer and ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’ initiative, which takes governance directly to the people,” he added.
Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Law and Justice Kento Jini personally attended the inauguration from Aalo in West Siang district, stressing that these projects will significantly enhance the connectivity of the state and contribute to a better future.
